From the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in Hawai‘i, Pacific Health Ministry chaplains searched for a way to provide support, positivity and encouragement to improve the morale of hospital staff and patients alike. Their idea: begin each shift with a word of encouragement. This new practice was so well received, we compiled the first 90 words in an easy-to-read e-book, which was released in October of 2020.
We are pleased to release the next 90 words in our Words of Encouragement Volume 2, which provides a word for each day from January 1 through March 31, 2021.
